Natural black diamonds, is that those who are naturally dark, because the number plate as inclusions, especially graphite. The inclusions are gas-particles and other complexities, as they formed. The many recordings, they are very difficult to cut and grind. Not only are they very porous, but they have many cracks and crevices, making them unsuitable for most traditional jewelry.
Most of the black diamonds that are found in jewelry have been treated or enhanced. These diamonds are exposed to extreme temperatures or radiation to make them look black. They can be polished to perfection than a diamond.
Although it is recommended to improve their quality diamonds to buy more, you know what you buy.
The best way to determine whether the Black Diamond is a natural or processed Megalith is the use of strong light or fiber in a narrow edge in the form of a diamond and sees the other side. If you have a dark green or brown edges have been treated or enhanced diamond.
Black Diamond therapy is still a diamond, but not the tester DiamondNite because of a change in conductivity of diamond, as it is processed, and the tester does not regard it as a diamond, but it really is.

Simple way to detect presence of electrolytes?
Suppose you have a known aqueous solution. Is their a simple method to detect whether or not that solution is ionic; other than via a conductivity tester?
My answer would be "no". Electrical conductivity is still the best way. The whole point of an electrolyte is that it conducts electricity. A molecular solute does not.
You could aspirate a sample of distilled water into a flame and observe the color of the flame. Then aspiriate the unknown solution onto a flame and see if it is a different color. A different color would indicate some cation that is present in the water.
You could boil the solution and compare the boiling point of the solution to the boiling point of pure water. If the BP is greater, then there is something dissolved in the water, although it might not be an electrolyte. (Or freeze and measure the difference in melting point.)
Evaporate the water and recover the solute. Melt it and measure the conductivity of the melt.
