Pool Filter pressure?
Hi I have a sand filter, which I havent started since summer. When I turned it on this weekend, there was no pressure. I backwashed and rinsed but still no pressure or suction. Any ideas.
Not quite sure what you mean by no pressure….if you backwashed you had pressure.
Whether you have a MVP {Multiport Valve} or a push pull valve the operations the same; you are reversing the flow of water through the filter.
My guess is that the gage is not working ….. but a few questions
Are you loosing water out the waste {backflow} line?
Did you bleed the air out at the top?
Did you give it enough time to prime
