Heart valve surgery:

There are four valves in your heart:

Replacing a valve:

Two kinds of prosthetic heart valves are available. Mechanical valves are created from man-made materials. Lifetime therapy with an anticoagulant (sometimes called a "blood thinner") is needed when these types of valves are used. This medication prevents blood clots from forming on or around the valve. Biological (tissue) valves are taken from pig, cow, or human donors. These valves don't last as long as mechanical valves. But when tissue valves are used, long-term use of an anticoagulant often isn't needed. To reach the valve, an incision is made in your heart or aorta. If the valve can be mended, the needed repairs are done. If the valve must be replaced, part or all of the damaged valve and its supportive structures may be removed. The right-sized replacement valve is selected, positioned in the valve opening, and sewn firmly into place. The incision in your heart or aorta is closed. Your heart is then started so it beats on its own again.

What does any body think of a Plymouth Roadrunner Superbrid or a Dodge Daytona?

I`ve always thought that the wings on the rear of those cars was very unique. The HEMI`s that were in these cars were a big plus.
Back in 1970, they took the Daytona 500 pretty easily. The 426 Hemi V8`s breathes so well because of the straight flow valve design.

to me that was probably some of the best cars that Chrysler ever built ,i got to drive them when they was almost new,so i know what they ran like back then though gas wasn't a problem getting the money for it was,but 3 bucks would do a lot of drag racing,i think those were the true muscle cars of the late 60,s and early 70,s without a doubt they will never be able to produce any car that looks that good or runs that good no matter how hard they try,i drove a super bee to work for an every day car then raced on saturday nights,it had a 440-six pack in it gas mileage wasn't good but smoking the tires was really fun,those were different time than now though,good luck
