Custom Built Spas - Is Your House A Good Fit? by Kenneth Goins
Anytime you are looking at building a new home or upgrading your current one, you want to get as many amenities as possible. This means you want to get the One Touch faucets, you want a stove with grilling surface, a fridge with an icemaker with water and a surround sound system built into the walls. One room that you can really place a nice upgrade in is the bath to add a spa, if you have the room. If not, one for the deck or patio may be a great option. So is an upgrade to a Custom Spa in your future?
You'd have to have an awfully small bathroom to not be able to install one. Being able to have a custom spa built means a great spa unit can be built and designed to fit almost any reasonably sized space which means if your bathroom design can be redone to accommodate a spa, you can have one. Spas don't have to be confined to the size of a tub either. If you have the space in your bathroom a two Person Spa can easily be designed and built to fit into virtually any space.
If you are worried about needing to restrict the spa to a rectangular space, the good news is it doesn't have to be a rectangle. Oval spas are great looking, especially when you are talking about a custom copper spa or one made from stainless. But more interesting shapes can be used that you may not ordinarily think of when redesigning a space. Both square spas and round ones can be made that will give you all of the features you expect but with a round or square design, a corner of a room or deck can be fully utilized instead of losing the space to a closet or cabinetry.
This opens up options for a custom Hot Tub or spa on a patio area that may not have the right "shape" for a standard spa or tub. By utilizing an area where you may not have been able to put anything but decorative plants, you take your deck or patio to a new level of fun and comfort. This means you're not locked into "industry standard" shapes and sizes by using custom designs that you can put where you want it to go. Take advantage of custom spa designs so you can have the spa or hot tub you've always wanted.
