What size de filter do I need for a 16 x 32 Inground Pool. I had a Pac Fab NS36?
You answered your own question. See the 36 in the model number? That's the size. Thirty six inches. You should actually be sizing everything from the pump onwards, not filter onwards. That 36 will do a 1.0 Hp pump, which in turn will ( working backwards) be fine for a 15,000 gallon to 19,000 gallon pool. You don't give a depth for the pool so I can't do a volume calculation to see if you have everything sized correctly in the first place here
