Vane pumps are also quite useful in the industry due to their orientation and application. These pumps are usually equipped with mechanical sealing, impellers with vanes, casing and shaft. Outlet pressure from these pumps can also be set according to the wish of the operator. These pumps can run at high RPM and thus are quite useful for the industry. However, the maintenance cost of such pumps is higher as compared to other pumps.

th350 forward drum wide bushing will not allow pump to slide into place?
I found that it is in fact the forward drum wide bushing.
The bushing is not allowing the the pump shaft to slide through it into its fitted space.
My first thought is that the bushing is at a tilt but its seems to be pretty level I'm not a 100% sure about that yet.
My second though is that upon installing the bushing the impact may have created a small lip.
First solution that came to mind was to sand the edge of the wide bushing smooth but i have been informed that sanding is a bad idea.
What now?
Thank you Gary I did in fact have a bushing installer.
Were I when wrong is I found slight damage to the first drum that I had installed bushing in.
Then I decide to not chance it and just replace the drum.
So I then removed and reinstalled bushing into the new drum.
I think installing,removing,then reinstalling put to much pounding on the bushing.

I guess you didn't have a bushing installer tool, but you can sand lip of bushing, find something round about size of bushing and wrap around wet/dry fine 600 grit sandpaper, put in on edge of bushing lip and sand with twisting motion, should do the trick. Or if you have Dremel you can use it with fine sander tube attachment on slow speed.
