The solution to rotary kiln swelled problem
What does it mean that cement rotary kiln swelled? As the name suggests, the amount of ore in the cement rotary kiln overpasses the required amount of the rotary kiln.

The hazards of cement rotary kiln swelled:
When the rotary kiln swelled, the materials and steel balls in barrel will accumulate full of the cylinder. The motor is in overload status and leads to slower speed of rotating cylinder motor. It losses lifespan of the motor to much degree, and even motor may be scrapped. As a result, the grain size of discharged material becomes coarse, and the power of rotary kiln decreases. Because the amount of materials increases, the load of transmission becomes bigger. Thus will accelerate the abrading to the gear, and even bring about short tooth phenomenon.
Why dose cement rotary kiln rotary kiln swelled? There are two main reasons. 1, Feeder sends too much amount of ore and beyond operating capacity of cement rotary kilns. 2, Because the discharge port of cement rotary kiln is blocked, finished products can not come out. The materials increasing brings about swelled phenomenon.
Swelled does much harm to cement rotary kilns, but how to prevent swelled phenomenon from happening? (1) Watch the feeding port of cement rotary kiln to know if there is accessible for material or not. (2)Listen to the sound of the cement rotary kiln operation. If small and stuffy, it shows that the material is too much in the rotary kiln. (3) Observe the current change of the rotary kiln current control cabinet. If change is small, stop immediately to check whether swelled.

Variations of this principle are used on other mineral systems using lasers.
