Got a salt Water Chlorinator - do I need any chemicals (other than salt)?

I've just bought an Intex Saltwater chlorinator which will be used in an Intex Ultraframe pool.
Will I need any chemicals additional to just the salt that the chlorinator will use? I.e. do I need anything like pH Plus, pH Minus, Algicide, Testing Kits etc?

Yup, you still need all your normal pool supplies ( except chlorine pucks) plus you'll need to monitor the salinity of the water as well as your normal weekly pH, Cl and Total Alkalinity checks using your current test kit ( make sure those testing reagents haven't expired or frozen once and if you're using the strips, that they're ok too). There are testers for salinity, available at your local pool shop. In addition, since you won't be using chlorine pucks anymore, you'll need to check the stabilizer levels at least twice a season. Your local pool shop should offer this service free, if you bring in a sample.
What that salt generator is doing, besides producing chlorine, is helping you use LESS Chemical Pool products. It won't eliminate the need for them completely, just the amount you'd normally have to use in a season.
Additionally, if you have some granular shock left over from last season, keep it. Always good to have back up, especially if your power goes out for an extended period of time.
