How to adjust ink line of Domino Inkjet Printer
Domino's A series' small character industrial inkjet printers are owned by lots of domestic users. After a period of using, there might be some changes to the location of the ink line, which could bring on character loss and accumulation of the residual ink etc. It is a piece of cake to adjust the ink line, but many pople don't know how to deal with it. Here in this passage, the adjustment will be explained with pictures. Firstly, we should know the correct location of the ink line.
The correct location of the ink line
A . Remove the printer head, the components of the printer head can be seen. The right locations of the ink lines are 1/4 and 1/10 of the length of the radius to the left of the recycle pipe(60 micron and 75 micron spray nozzle; 40 micron spray nozzle)
B . Rotate the spray head for 90 degree, the right location of the ink line is on the middle of the recycle pipe(40,60,75 micron spray nozzle)
C . The ink line is on the middle of and parallelling the charge electrode assy.
D . The ink line paralleles the starboard deflexion plate, and the distance between them is 1-2mm.
The adjustment. The following mathods are suitable for the small deflexion, if the situation is much more serious, then forget about these.
A . Press the spanner ico key on the keyboard and input the password "service", press the Enter key in order to enter the service menu. Press the green key and do not release it, meanwhile press the spanner ico key again for typing the password "maigret", then press the Enter key, so that we can enter the advanced service menu. Press the manual key, we can enter the manual mode under which we can adjust the ink line without malfunctions to the recycle pipe and high voltage etc. After the above steps, successively open the electromagnetic valve, the pump of the ink supply system, when the present value and the setting value of the ink is closed to each other, open the spray nozzle electromagnetic valve, then chose the "rule" for "pressure". When finishing all of the aboved mentioned, we can begin the adjustment now, please check the following details.
B . Loosen the tighten screw with 1.5mm allen key. If the ink line is deflected left, then slightly adjust the cam to the right. Vice versa.
C . if the ink line is deflected forward, loosen the screw as above, and slightly adjust the cam to the left; if the ink line is deflected backwords, then slightly adjust the cam to the right.
D . After finishing the above two steps, check whether the ink line is on the middle of the charge electrode assy and paralleles to it through the magnifier in the printer head surface. If it is the right position, then the adjustment is finished. If not, we have to adjust the position of the charge electrode assy. Firstly, slightly lossen the 2 srews in the bracket of the charge electrode assy, then gently move the charge electrode assy according to the location of the ink line. The move must be careful, or the ink would be splashed everywhere. When finishing the adjustment, tighten the srews. Here we have finished the adjustment, then leave the manual operating interface, boot the printer.
